(Havre) – The Havre City Council hosts its monthly meeting on Monday May 4th at 7pm at City Hall.
Items on the agenda for this meeting, include confirmation of Mayor Wade Bitz’s Drinking Water Week proclamation which runs Today through May 9th. The city budget will be amended to account for a couple of donations city departments have received. Police Chief Gabe Matosich will ask for approval of a new probationary police officer, The city will consider approving an agreement between Hill County and the City of Havre establishing a City-County Board of Health. The Hill County Commission passed this agreement in April. Finally the council will consider a road closure request from the Hi-Line Arts Council and Havre Chamber of Commerce for the Art Alley and first final Friday of the season on Friday May 29th.
