Havre, MT – The Sugarbeeter boys basketball team came out of the weekend with a loss at Fort Benton and a competitive loss at Box Elder.
Despite the struggles Coach Bill says his team’s defensive has improved in more ways than one since the start of the season.
“The talking on defense helped us and also we have been working on our 2-3 zone and that has seemed to kind of impact some of the opponents.”
The Sugarbeeters are 6-8 overall on the year and 6-4 in conference play with four more games before the post season arrives.
Next up the Sugarbeeters will be at Cut bank on Friday February 6 at 7:30p.m. and at home on Saturday February 7 at 5:30p.m. for a clash with Fairfield.
