Havre, MT – As Havre High golf is gearing up for another season, there is one thing that veteran head coach Dennis Murphy enjoys more than anything when it comes to coaching.
“My favorite part about coaching is just being with the kids, being with the students. We’re going to see a tremendous amount of improvement in our squad this year.” Coach Murphy shared.
“Just being with them and enjoying their success. When I’m talking success, I’m not talking about winning. It might be making a chip shot maybe making a long put, it be having a lower score than the week before. Enjoying those success with them is a lot of fun.”
Coach Murphy will hope to share some of those successes with his team at the Havre Invite Thursday August 20, to open the 2026 season.
