(Havre) – The Hill County Commissioners held their regular business meeting on Thursday at the Hill County Courthouse, and they discussed many different items.
All motions passed on a 2 to 0 vote as Commissioner Jake Strissel was not in attendance. They contracted with FICO for security maintenance on the video surveillance system inside the Hill County Courthouse. The Hill County Health Department had two task orders approved by the commissioners, one for wastewater surveillance for Covid-19, and one renewing their Public Health Emergency Preparedness Contract.
The Commissioners made two board appointments on Thursday as they reappointed Chandra Moomey to the Central Montana Tourism Board and John Chinadle as a supervisor for the Hill County Conservation District replacing the retiring Tom Jurenka. In other business the commissioners approved their right of way lease with Mount Royal in the Sweetgrass Hills for over the air television service, approved a 40-year lease with Laredo Financial Business and Real Estate for a parcel of land in Laredo, and approved a Tel Net System for the Hill County Clerk and Recorders Office.
Then next Hill County Commissioners meeting will be on Thursday June 22nd, 10am at the commissioners office in the Hill County Courthouse.
