POWELL COUNTY, Mont. — Fire crews continued making progress Tuesday on the Jericho Mountain Fire, burning about 369 acres south of Macdonald Pass.
With 461 personnel assigned, firefighters worked on both sides of the Continental Divide to build containment lines and reduce heat.
An unmanned drone is now helping map the fire and identify hot spots.
Containment remains at zero percent.
An evacuation warning is still in effect for Rimini Road south of Bear Gulch.
A National Forest closure and temporary flight restriction remain in place.
Warmer, drier weather may increase fire activity later this week.
