Chinook MT – Chinook Sugarbeeter boys’ basketball is looking to build on their 2-2 start this weekend as they battle Box Elder and Fort Benton. Leading the Sugarbeeters this weekend is a pair of juniors in guard Ryan Bell and forward Jamison Nordboe.
Head coach Chinook Bill Bell states just how valuable his junior scoring threats are.
“They’re the keys to our offense being executed. The other teams know that. So when teams stop one they’re not going to able to stop both, so that’s the good thing about having a dual threat.” Coach Bell Said.
Bell is averaging 20.1 points per game through for games and Nordboe is at 16 points per game this season.
The Sugarbeeters will host Boxelder on Friday at 5:30p.m. and Fort Benton on Saturday at also at 5;30p.m.
