(Bozeman) In a press release, the Custer-Gallatin Forest Service says Wet and muddy road conditions persist across the Bridger Range making many roads impassable.
The South Brackett Creek Road is closed in its entirety and the Fairy Lake Road will remain closed at Carrol Creek.
Both roads are too muddy, soft, and wet to sustain vehicle use, which causes vehicles to get stuck and excessive road and resource damage when driven. The roads will open as soon as conditions dry out or necessary maintenance can be performed.
They clarify all other roads slated to open June 16th on the Bozeman Ranger District are opening on schedule
