Havre, Mt – Montana State University-Northern Lights basketball is 2-0 at home in Armory gym this year after defeating Dickinson State and Bismarck State other the weekend. Those were the first of 11 total home conference games this season.
The Lights will play 22 total conference games, 11 at home and 11 on the road, making every home game that much more important.
Head coach of the Lights Shawn Huse knows his team is going to have to defend Armory gym and even steal some road wins.
“I think you always are shooting for that. Hold court at home and at least split on the road. I feel like we have a team that has a chance to do that. But we’re still learning. I mean we’ve still got a ways to go. The good news is this team is very coachable and very locked in, and I think our celling is still pretty high because of that.” coach Huse elaborated
The Lights host another pair of home games this Friday and Saturday and Dakota State University and Bellevue University. Tipoff for both games is 7p.m.
