HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – As New Years approaches, the Hi-Line Tavern Association wants to remind people that there is a year-round designated driver program to ensure people get home safely.
Association President Kodi Peterson has the details.
“The establishments and the association give out the designated driver ticket at the bar, and then the people that we fill them out for get to drink non-alcoholic beverages when they are in there. Then they drive the people home and leave the cards with us. We put them in once a month for a drawing, and people get a chance to win $50. Then, at the annual meeting, all those tickets get put back in and they get a chance to win $500.”
