GARFIELD COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Devil’s Creek Fire in Garfield County is at 100 percent containment as of Sunday evening.
The lighting-caused fire burned over 19,000 acres of land on rough, steep terrain 36 miles northwest of Jordan, just south of Fort Peck Reservoir.
Devils Creek Road in Garfield County has reopened to the public. Please drive with caution and use designated pullouts to ensure vehicle safety and prevent sparking new fires.
