14 basketball players from the District 9C schools received All-State Class ‘C’ honors, as announced on Monday night. The Box Elder boys led everyone with four players selected for the list. Tracen Jilot and Tuarie Stiffarm-Rosette were chosen for the third consecutive season for the Bears, while Dreyden Anderson and Alex Four Colors made the cut for the first time.
Also on the list for 9C schools included Kellan Diekhans, Brett Evans, and Kelton Vielleux from Fort Benton, Nate Nelson and Ryland St. John from Chester-Joplin-Inverness, and Carson Maloney along with Tate Beck from Turner.
Girls that were selected for All-State included Brynn Kammerzell from Chester-Joplin-Inverness, Bridget Reed from Turner, and Eva Yeadon (yay-DUN) from Big Sandy. Kammerzell was an All-State player from 2023-24, while Yeadon ends her high school career as a 3-time All-State performer.
