Helena, MT— On Thursday, Montana Republican United States Congressman Troy Downing officially filed for reelection to represent Montana’s second district in the 120th United States Congress.
“Representing central and eastern Montana has been the privilege of a lifetime,” said Downing. “My constituents are my north star, and I show up each day and do the work so rural America has the kind of voice in Washington it deserves. I’ve fought for historic tax relief, championed conservative values, tackled affordability head on, and got my boots on the ground to listen to what my people have to say. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. From Great Falls to Glendive and everywhere in between, it would be my honor to continue to represent Montana’s second district in our nation’s capital.”
