(Lewistown) Fish and Wildlife Service officials announced that Duvall Bridge will be closed on the west end of the Charles M Russell National Wildlife Refuge.
The closure is effective immediately and will last until further notice amid safety concerns.
The refuge recommends alternative routes to access the Elk Viewing Area, such as the the north Auto Tour entrance between mile markers 98 and 99 on US highway 191.
The refuge staff says that updates will be posted on the Charles M Russell National Wildlife Refuge Facebook page.
