EAST MISSOULA, Mont. — The East Missoula Rural Fire Department has approved a $222,000 levy proposal to fund local fire and emergency services.
The measure will appear on the next election ballot for voter consideration.
If approved, the levy would raise annual property taxes by approximately $67 for a $100,000 home, $202 for a $300,000 home, and over $400 for a $600,000 home.
Officials say the funding would help maintain and improve essential services in the East Missoula area.
