Havre Public Schools received the results from the Support Friday survey that was administered during Christmas. Almost 600 people responded to this survey which helped provide clarity on this program. The survey reflected that Support Fridays are still effective and that the calendar for the upcoming school year, will still include these days as a part of our educational program.
Havre Public Schools is currently working on next year’s school calendar which will go before the board for approval at the March meeting. When creating a school calendar, it’s imperative that we seek input from a variety of employee and parent groups. Our goal is to have a calendar that best fits the needs of the students and staff within the Havre community.
The innovative Tax Credit Program was a huge success this year. Havre Public Schools received over $125,000 in donations that will be used for transformational learning opportunities with students. I would like to give all our donors a personal Thank You, as your contributions allow us to continue to provide excellent opportunities for students.
Finally, our Ponies are busy closing out their winter competition seasons. Havre FFA will host District’s on February 10th, and you can still catch up with home basketball one last time on February 14th. Please go to our website for all dates, times, and locations regarding all Blue Pony events!
