(Billings) A federal jury Tuesday convicted a Billings man of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme (all-me) said.
After a two-day trial that began on March 17th, the jury found the defendant, 40-year-old Joshua David Heafner guilty of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Heafner faces a maximum of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.
U.S. District Judge Susan P. Watters presided.
