Festival of Trees Fundraiser Comes to Havre Saturday

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Line will host their largest fundraiser of the year on Saturday, November 24th. Special Events Coordinator Krystal Steinmetz says the 11th annual Festival of Trees will feature 16 trees for people to bid on. Their theme this year is the Twelve Days of Christmas.

“The Festival of Trees is this Saturday. It starts at 7 and we open the doors at 6:30. It’s hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, we have a no host bar. We have auctions, games, and it’s right her at the Boys & Girls Club in our multipurpose room.”

They will have a new game this year, sponsored by JM Donoven and Heirloom Jewelers.

“We do have kind of an exciting and new game this year that we’re going to do and it’s the Five Golden Rings game. So, we are fortunate that we had two great jewelers that put together some amazing round or golden ring-type jewelry that people can get in on.”

Steinmetz says that some of the money they raise will go towards a bus garage, as they will start providing kids with rides home. Tickets are going fast and cost $25 on the Club’s website or by calling 265-6206.
