HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The 2019 Primary Elections will be held on November 5th and there are only a few contested races in our area.
The City of Havre will only be mailing out ballots to those in Ward 4 for the contest between current Councilmember Erik Meis and Derek Eldridge. Meis was appointed by the Council last December to fill a vacancy left by Andrew Brekke.
The Town of Dodson will be selecting two Councilmembers from the three options, Pat Ditmar, Polly Solberg, and Frank Skip Cole.
The Town of Fort Benton also has one contested race and one ballot issue on their ballots this year.
All of these elections will be decided with a mail-in ballot only. Ballots can be mailed in to your local county courthouse or dropped off in the Clerk and Recorders Office by 8 PM on November 5th. No post-dated ballots will be accepted.
