Fire Burns Another Big Equipment Building near Havre

HAVRE, MT:(NMB) Early Monday morning, Havre Fire Department receieved a call about a fire approximately at 6am at a Big Equipment Building. The location of the building is west of Havre, north of Highway 2.

According to Havre Fire Chief Mel Paulson their department, along with five other departments, had the roughly 20,000 foot structure under control shortly after 8am.

As per Paulson they still had a crew of about five with a truck and tender, working to mop up hot spots as of 4pm Monday afternoon.

The building structure itself will be considered a total loss.
