(Fort Belknap) Fort Belknap is hosting their 53rd annual Mid-Winter Fair, which is open to the public.
The fair, scheduled to last six days, is set to have a wide variety of talent and entertainment, but there’s another detail some might not know: this is the first time they’ve done this fair since the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We haven’t had one since before covid, we’re just trying to get it revived and bring it back to life. I think we’re all working together, The Tiwahe Initiative, various tribal programs, Tribal Support, Island Mountain. Each event is put on by a different [entity], whether it be community member or tribal program we’re all working together to get a better turnout for our community.”
