FORT BELKNAP, Mont. (NMB) – The Special Election for the final open Fort Belknap Tribal Council seat will conclude on Tuesday.
Absentee voting is available Sunday, December 12th and Monday December 13th from 8 AM-5 PM at the Elections Office at 212 Hopi Street at the Agency.
On Tuesday, voters who have a ballot in their possession that was received through the mail can submit their ballot by appearing with it at their designated polling sites, which are located in Hays, Lodgepole, the Agency and Dodson.
If you voted absentee prior to the election, you can not be present at a polling site on Election Day.
The race is for the two-year term in the seat representing Assiniboine At-Large/Elected by Assiniboine voters.
The two remaining candidates are Cheryl D. Horn and Curtis Horn.
