HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Thanks to the generosity of the local community, free will Thanksgiving dinners will be available in both Havre and Chinook on Thursday.
In Havre, a traditional turkey dinner will be provided from 11 AM-1 PM at the St. Jude Parish Center. It will be to-go only.
Those looking to get a meal delivered must contact the Senior Center at 406-265-5464 by 4 PM Wednesday.
This dinner is funded annually by “The Anonymous Donor.”
In Chinook, a free will ham meal will be served in the Commercial Building at the Blaine County Fairgrounds from noon-2 PM. People can dine-in or take the meal to-go.
This year’s Chinook meal is in honor of the late Dorris Hamilton, who helped make the event a community staple.
Those looking to have the Chinook meal delivered are asked to call Kathy O’Brien at 357-2937 by 9PM on Wednesday.
