GLASGOW, Mont. (NMB) – A popular Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 6 program that allows children and their families to check out free fishing rods and tackle is in full swing again this year.
A press release says that the “Kids to Fish” program lets youngsters checkout fishing rods and reels and use basic tackle, like hooks, bobbers and sinkers.
Fishing Rods and tackle are available to check out in Havre at the FWP Havre Office, Stromberg’s Sinclair, the Hill County Library, and Quality Life Concepts. They can also be found at Finley’s Food Farm in Chinook, the Phillips County Library and Westside Conoco Convenience Store in Malta, the EZ Mart store in Harlem, the Kwik Stop in Fort Belknap Agency, the Grocery Store in Big Sandy, at the Liberty Quick Stop in Chester, and at Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs near Saco.
