(Montana FWP) Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks is reminding the public that non-resident hunters have until June 30th to sign up for the Alternate’s List.
This list is, in essence, a “waiting list” for non-resident hunters; every year Montana FWP gets nonresident hunting licenses returned by customers, and those are then resold through the Alternate’s List.
FWP says that payment is not required when signing up for the list, and if your randomized position on the list falls at the time, you will be contacted by email with instruction on how to purchase your newly available license.
