FWP to host star gazing party

(MT FWP) Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks will host a Star Gazing Party at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park north of Ulm.

Rangers and park staff, with help from the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center (LCIC), will tell stories of historic celestial navigation and identify entities in the night sky. Telescopes will be available to use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own telescope or binoculars. Red-light headlamps, lawn chairs, and layered clothing are also recommended. At the end of the event, a drawing will be held for a participant to win a telescope, courtesy of the LCIC.
