(MSU) After a year and a half of fundraising, Montana State University announced Wednesday that a gift of $4.8 million from the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation has allowed it to reach its goal of raising the $22.5 million in private donations needed to move ahead with constructing an on-campus facility for Gallatin College MSU.
According the university Gallatin College MSU has been the university’s fastest growing college for years, setting enrollment records semester after semester, including a record 1,101 students in fall 2024. It offers professional and workforce trades certificates and associate degrees.
Despite the growth, the college’s programs have operated out of leased and donated space in Bozeman and never had a dedicated facility until now.
