Gianforte Announces Disbursement of ARPA Funds to Local Cities and Towns

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – Governor Greg Gianforte announced the disbursement of over $20 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to cities and towns across the state.

Local municipalities receiving funds include:

  • Big Sandy ($71,778.45)
  • Chinook ($160,160.46)
  • Choteau ($218,400.62)
  • Cut Bank ($390,949.88)
  • Denton ($29,758.68)
  • Fort Peck ($30,525.00)
  • Havre ($1,250,503.21)
  • Kevin ($17,369.87)
  • Malta ($237,686.29)
  • Saco ($23,883.58)
  • Shelby ($386,096.54)
  • Winifred ($24,905.33)

Amounts are based on criteria outlined by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Payments were issued late last week and municipalities should receive them by early this week.

These are the first of a series of disbursements that will be made by the state by June 30th.
