MISSOULA, Mont. — Governor Greg Gianforte visited NeighborWorks Montana in Missoula Tuesday to highlight a new multifamily housing project and the organization’s role in expanding housing access statewide.
The visit focused on the Scott Street Ravara development, supported in part through the state’s HOMES Program, which provides funding for housing infrastructure.
NeighborWorks was recently approved as a HOMES lender, following 2023 legislation backed by the governor.
The program has supported nearly 1,000 new homes so far, with more planned in the next fiscal year.
