(Lincoln) – The Helena Lewis and Clark National Forest says the Gill Gulch Fire seven miles south of Lincoln remains at 34 Acres. They say firefighters are continuing suppression lines and mop
up duty while also working on contingency lines and structure protection. Wood chipping also continues to reduce fuel sources for the Fire. The Helena Lewis and Clark National Forest says that
firefighters from the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department and Montana Department on Natural resources and conservation are fighting the blaze.
