CUT BANK, Mont. (NMB) – Glacier County confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing their total to six.
The new cases were detected in a female between the ages of 10 and 19 and a male in their 60s.
One of the new patients was the first to test positive at Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning. That patient is quarantined and under surveillance.
One of the six COVID-19 patients in Glacier County has recovered.
No other information is currently available.
Earlier this month, the Blackfeet Nation canceled all community events that feature social gatherings for the remainder of 2020. They also remain under a Stay-At-Home order and mandatory curfew until further notice.
Over the weekend, four new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Montana. Besides the two in Glacier County, there was one new case each in Cascade and Yellowstone.
448 people in Montana have tested positive for COVID-19 and 14 have died.
339 patients have recovered and there are 11 current COVID-19 related hospitalizations.
Six of the 14 deaths have been Toole County residents, where an outbreak has been reported at a long-term care facility in Shelby.
