(West Glacier) Going-to-the-Sun Road has reopened following dangerous road conditions caused by snow and ice, according to a release from Glacier National Park.
The road originally closed at 2pm Wednesday in the area between Avalanche Creek and Jackson Glacier Overlook.
Now, Hidden Lake Trail and Highline Trail between Logan Pass to Granite Park Chalet are close, with the alpine sections of the proper road being reopened.
The closures of these trails will remain in place until conditions improve, and the park says it will continually re-evaluate trail conditions to see when the closures can be lifted.
