This weekend is the 50th annual Havre Art Association’s Golden Art Show. Kris Martens, a member of the association welcomes everyone to the show and explains what you can expect visiting the Art Show.
“We welcome everyone to come out and take in the show. We’ll have cookies and coffee, and you’ll see art from some of our local artists currently and also, since it’s our fifty year golden art show we will be showing art from several of our past artists.“- Martens
Kris Martens then continues to explain the in-depth value of the art show.
“The art show also, I think captures some of our values, some of the things that are important to us. So, it’s kind of a capsule of who we are in this community of Havre, Montana.“-Martens
The show will take place on Saturday November 5th from 10am to 5pm and Sunday November 6th from 12pm to 4pm at Van Orsdel Methodist Church. At the show art will be available for purchase as well as viewing.
