Governor Bullock Appoints Locals to State Councils, Committees

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – On Friday, Governor Steve Bullock announced another batch of appointments to statewide committees, councils and boards.

Max Cederberg from Turner and Llew Jones from Conrad were appointed to the Montana Wheat and Barley Committee. They are both farmers and ranchers in who derive a substantial portion of their income from growing wheat or barley. Cederberg operates in District II, consisting of Valley, Phillips, Blaine, and Hill Counties. Jones is the owner of Jones Ranch in Pondera County and operates in District III, consisting of Liberty, Toole, Glacier, and Pondera Counties.

Roger Wagner from Nashua was appointed to the Board of Engineer and Land Surveyors. Wagner is a retired Valley County farmer, but not directly connected with the practice of engineering or land surveying.

Matt Waller from Chester was appointed to the Trauma Care Committee. Waller is the Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Medical Center.
