ULM, Mont. (NMB) – A 58-year-old Great Falls man was killed due to a single-vehicle crash on I-15 north on Friday morning.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 7:55 AM at mile marker 268 near Ulm, when the Ford F150 the man was driving entered the median. The vehicle overcorrected and began rotating clockwise, then crossed both northbound lanes, collided with the guardrail, and overturned multiple times before landing upside-down.
The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt and was the only occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Benefis Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Drug use is a suspected factor in the crash. The road was bare and dry.
