H. Earl Clack Foundation Board Meeting Evaluates Season’s Success

HAVRE (NMB) On Monday evening the H. Earl Clack Museum held their monthly business meeting and discussed several agenda items.

Museum Manager Emily Mayer presented the board with a draft of a manual outlining procedures for employees and volunteers of the the museum. The manual was a combination of current operating needs and information from previous procedures.

More than one board member wanted the chance to scrutinize the binder and give the Foundation the chance to vote for approval.

Mayer also gave an assessment on Wahk Chu’gn Buffalo Jump and why reservations for tours may have dropped..

“I think we’re doing fairly good, especially out a the buffalo jump with the weather of course. You know, gas prices and things like that, I think that caught up. In about mid-August then I noticed quite a drop. That of course with kids going back to school.” That
