Hamilton Man Killed in Head-On Crash

RAVALLI COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 28-year-old Hamilton man was killed in a head-on crash early Saturday.

The crash occurred at 12:07 AM at mile marker three of Secondary Road 269, when a northbound Ford Explorer and southbound Ford Escape collided in the center of the road on a curve for unknown reasons.

The Escape caught fire and the driver died as a result.

There were no other occupants of the Escape.

The two occupants of the Explorer, a 38-year-old and 14-year-old, both from Victor, were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The road was wet at the time.
