The night at the Metra in Billings did not disappoint when it hosted the high school double header featuring the Havre Blue Ponies and the Fergus Golden Eagles. In the first half of the night the girls’ squads faced off against each other and the Blue Ponies team stormed out the gate to dominate the court from tip to time, never letting the Golden Eagles gain ground and finishing with the score, Havre 63, Lewistown 49.
The second half of the program blew the doors off the Metra as the boys played their hearts out and left everything on the hardwood. The Eagles ran with the ball and finished the game over the Ponies with a final, Havre boys 57, Lewistown boys 90.
