The Havre Blue Ponies faced off against the Lewistown Golden Eagles Tuesday night in high school double-header basketball action that saw games ranging from a close energetic match to a domination.
In the Men’s game, both Havre and Lewistown had a close game on their hands that unfortunately saw the Blue Ponies lagging behind the Golden Eagles throughout the entire game. With point differences ranging from 3 to 6 points per quarter, Lewistown won the men’s game 59-55.
In the Women’s game, the Blue Ponies were kicking posteriors and taking names as they dominated the game early on with a 21-point lead. Havre did not let up and ended the game with a win 66-20.
