HAVRE, Mont (NMB) – Havre’s City Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday night in City Hall.
During the brief meeting, three agenda items were unanimously passed. The first adjusted the city’s building codes to match with the 2018 edition of the International Building Codes.
The second donated an ambulance to the Hill-County Rudyard Ambulance Service.
The third confirmed Marc Oberweiser as a Patrol Officer with the Havre Police Department. Oberweiser’s one year probationary period as an officer concludes on Dec. 31.
Before the meeting adjourned, the council thanked Ward 4’s Erik Meis for his service. Derek Eldridge defeated Meis in the last election and will be sworn in at the next meeting on Jan. 6.
