(Havre) The Eagles Club in Havre have a time honored tradition of hosting a free, open to the public Christmas dinner every year. This year, New Media Broadcasters spoke with Doug Denny, Chairman of the Community Christmas dinner, to ask for more details on the event.
“The dinners going to start at 11am, and it goes until 2pm, and that is on Christmas Day. We will start deliveries at about 11 o’clock, so for people that are looking for deliveries: If they haven’t got them around noon time, they need to call and let us know to make sure they didn’t get missed.”
Denny also gave us a quick sneak peek as to what’s on the menu this year.
“It’s a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, we’ll have the suffing, cranberries, and salad. Our to-go orders will not have the cranberry; they’ll get a basic meal which is turkey, stuffing, yams, and corn. Pie will be available here, and salad, but it’s just too hard to do that for to-go orders.”
