Havre Fire Department Responds To Fire at Local Church

HAVRE, MONT – On Wednesday evening The Havre Fire Department responded to a fire at the 400 block of 6th avenue at St. Judes Catholic Church. The station responded with a crew of 1 fire engine and 3 firefighters. A Fire Extinguisher was used to put out the small fire. According to Fire Chief Mel Paulson while the blaze was small but, did the potential to grow. Firefighters say that burning papers are the suspected cause of the fire and the investigation is on going. There were no injures reported from the incident.
