HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – As Havre’s Food Bank is preparing for it’s largest food drive of the year, they are also collecting items for their new Go-Bag program. Manager Sammantha Nimmick says this program is geared toward their homeless and transient clients who can’t store perishable items.
“Along with some of the canned foods that we’re putting in those, we’re also trying to provide some sanitary products like female sanitation, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste. So if there’s anything like that that you have to donate, we’d love to see those kinds of items too.”
