HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Monday, the Havre Food Bank and Salvation Army will be distributing their Thanksgiving Food Boxes to those in need. Food Bank Manager Sammantha Nimmick says they had 35 families sign up to receive a full Thanksgiving dinner.
“So this year we’re doing things a little bit differently. Normally, we hand out some pies, or pie filling and crusts in the boxes. This year they are going to be getting cake mix and frosting. They’ll be getting the traditional items too. Green beans, mashed potatoes, turkeys, butter, rolls and some whip cream.”
The distribution for those who signed up will be on Monday, November 19th from 1 to 4 PM at the Havre Food Bank.
