Havre, MT – Friday and Saturday Havre High boys basketball fell to Frenchtown(67-32) and Bigfork(47-39) and are now 0-6 to start the season.
“That was a really good team we played against. They had big size advantage on us but I thought those boys really competed well. Right now we’re kind of going through lulls on our offensive end where we’re not scoring the ball, not shooting good percentages right now. Overall Friday I like the way competed for sure.” Coach Burgess said in discusses the Frenchtown game.
Despite the early season struggles there are some things that coach WaLynn Burgess believes his team is doing well and can improve on.
“The defense is coming along we’re starting to figure that one out. Now its can we put the ball in the hoop? That’s kind of where we’re at right now. it’s just one of those things that we’re going to have to figure out.” Coach Burgess said.
Havre High Blue Pony basketball will hit the hardwood again on January 2 for their first home game of the season when they Host browning.
