(NMB) Havre High School is celebrating Homecoming week this week. There is a different dress up theme for the kids everyday from fictional character day, to throwback day to Blue Pony Friday and according to Havre High Activities Director Mark Irvin every school in the District is encouraged to participate. “Something we’ve tried to do over the last few years, I would say is include the other buildings and make it not just a Highschool Homecoming but a District wide Homecoming. So, pretty excited about that. We set up our spirit days to be something all of the buildings can do.”
Each High School Class will decorate their hallway, Wednesday is Coronation Day, there will be a pep assembly and parade on Friday. The parade will start at 4pm and Irvin says the community is encouraged to attend. ‘What’s fun about Homecoming is you see all of the support that comes out from the community as well. It would be great to see all the community come out and support the teams and the band and everybody that will be a part of that. All the Homecoming Royalty will be in the parade as well.”
Homecoming week will conclude with the football game on Friday night at 7pm versus Lockwood and the Volleyball Match Saturday afternoon at 4pm.
