Havre High School Student Arrested on Intimidation Charge

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre student was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly yelling “School Shooting!” in the library.

Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich said that at about 12:30 Wednesday, officers responded to the school after a report of a disruptive student. Upon further investigation, officers arrested 18-year-old Dyllan Murray of Havre for felony intimidation and disorderly conduct.

After Murray was escorted to the principal’s office, he continued his disruptive behavior. He was transported to the Hill County Detention Center where he is being held without bond. The investigation is being forwarded to the Hill County Attorney for formal charges.

Matosich said it’s unknown at this time if Murray was involved with the threat found in a bathroom at the High School on Monday.
