HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre-Hill County Library is reopening to the public on Monday.
The library had been closed for several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the reopening, the following precautions will be in place:
- Patrons will be required to wear a mask while in the library. Those without a mask will be provided one.
- Patrons are also required to wash their hands after entering the library.
- Temporary library hours will be Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. They will remain closed on weekends.
- The first hour the library is open each day will be reserved for vulnerable populations.
- No more than 10 patrons will be allowed in the library at a time, and those entering the library are asked to maintain social distancing and keep visits to 30 minutes or less.
- Frequently touched objects will be sanitized after each use, and all seating has been removed except for chairs at the computers.
- There will be no meetings or programming for the time being.
- Collections, public restrooms, and drinking fountains will remain closed to the public due to an inability to keep them sanitized.
Curbside pickup will continue to be offered. This can be requested by calling 265-2123, emailing library@havrehill.org, or messaging them on Facebook.
Patrons should not enter the building if they have signs or symptoms of any illness.
