HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Tuesday, November 5th, the City of Havre, the Town of Hingham, and Hill County will host a meeting at 1 PM with the location to be determined.
DNRC Floodplain Outreach Specialist Nadene Wadsworth says they received a grant this fall through FEMA to conduct a new floodplain study and to update the Flood Insurance Rate Maps through Hill County. At least three people from DNRC in Helena plan on attending.
They will also be discussing levees in the area, as well as their Silver Jackets project.
