HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – 176 students from across eastern Montana were at Havre High School on Saturday for the Class A eastern speech, debate and drama tournament.
Every single competitor from Havre advanced to the state tournament, scheduled for this upcoming weekend in Corvallis.
Havre Speech Coach Tim Leeds said he wanted to provide his thanks for everyone, including local Havre teachers and administrators, that stepped up to help fill Judging positions and do whatever else was needed to ensure the event could proceed despite numerous hiccups leading up to the contest.
