Havre Man Arrested After Shots Fired During Fight


HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre man has been arrested on five counts for his role in a fight that ended with shots being fired early Friday morning.

Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich says 21 year-old Colten Harp has been charged with criminal endangerment, aggravated DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs and driving on a suspended license.

At about 2:10 Friday morning, Havre Police received multiple calls about a disturbance where shots were fired inside a vehicle. The vehicle and people involved were located on the 400 block of 4th Avenue and Harp was arrested. Matosich says no one was injured and Harp is being held in the Hill County Detention Center without bond.
